PCS is not specialised in a certain sector, but was able to accumulate most of its experience in vocational skill development (VSD), technical and vocational education and training (TVET), business development, and income generation. Thereby PCS gained experiance in the assessment of labour markets (LMA) and the identification of skill needs.

In recent years a systemic approach and sustainability became focus, and conceptualisation of projects became more important. To clearly define roles and responsibilities of the different parties involved in projects, PCS developed the Shared LogFrame Approach©.

PCS is delivering high quality consultancy in development cooperation. Main focus is given to strategy development, capacity development and management processes. This ranges from organisation and system development, project preparation (fact-finding, opportunity and strategy analysis, project design - including project document development), activity and budget planning process support, monitoring, project and program evaluation to impact analysis.
